This is the Scientific American 60-second Tech.

I'm Rarry Greenmire. Got a minute?

    >> I'm Larry Greenemeier. Got a minuite?

Two at a three people in the world, cannot connect to the Internet.

    >> Two out of three people in the world cannot connect to the Internet.

Not because of crummy service, but rather because in the remote area where they live, there is no service.

    >> Not because of crummy service, but rather because in the remote areas where they live there is no service.

To come up with waste deliver data services to the underserved areas,

    >> To come up with ways to deliver data services to underserved areas

Facebook, Quilcom and others formed internet.org.

    >> Facebook, Qualcomm and others formed Internet.org.

Facebook's big idea is to large solar powered atmosphere satelite drones that can carry equipment for willing wireless networks.

    >> Facebook’s big idea is to launch solar-powered atmospheric satellite drones that can carry equipment for relaying wireless networks.

To get the hardware, the social network is buying atmos-sate maker "tighten aerospace" for 60 million dollars.

    >> To get the hardware, the social network is buying atmosat-maker Titan Aerospace for $60 million.

Rather than just buying afligue of tighten solar powered drones,

    >> Rather than just buying a fleet of Titan’s Solara drones,

Facebook is trying to excellerate their development.

    >> Facebook is trying to accelerate their development.

Tightness cell has added message wouldn't be ready for customers until next year.

    >> Titan has said its atmosats wouldn’t be ready for customers until next year.

But building in an economist aerocraft can't stay a lot for years at a time isn't easy.

They spent about 5 years and tens of millions of dollars trying to get their high-flying-solar-powered-virtual-aircraft off the ground.

    >> They spent about five years and tens of millions of dollars trying to get their high-flying, solar-powered Vulture aircraft off the ground.

But in 2012, dark decides you instead focus on further developing only the fordable taking energy storage systems ment for a virture.

    >> But in 2012 DARPA decided to instead focus on further developing only the photovoltaic and energy storage systems meant for the Vulture.

That's it. Being like by Facebook should help us solar drones soar.

    >> That said, being “liked” by Facebook should help the Solara drones soar.

    Thanks for the minute.
